Pre-Appointment Prep

Eat a Good Meal. Have a full meal beforehand to keep your energy up and avoid feeling faint during the session.

Get a Good Night’s Sleep. Arrive well-rested

so your body is better prepared for the tattooing process.

Wear Comfortable Clothing.

Choose clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed and ensures comfort during the appointment.

Avoid Alcohol & Blood Thinners. Skip alcohol and blood-thinning medications like aspirin at least 24 hours before your appointment to reduce bleeding.

Avoid Excess Sun Exposure. Protect the area being tattooed from the sun to prevent sunburn or skin damage, as tattooing damaged skin isn’t possible.

Basic Order of Your Tattoo Appointment

Design Review

After completing paperwork, your artist will go over the design with you. This is the time to discuss any changes, including sizing or details.

Stencil Application

A stencil of the design will be printed and applied to your skin. The stencil can be easily adjusted, so make sure the size and placement are exactly how you want them. Be open with your artist about your preferences.

Tattoo Session

Once you and the artist agree on the stencil placement, the tattoo process begins. Duration will vary depending on the size, placement, and complexity of the tattoo. Feel free to ask for breaks, especially during longer sessions.

Finishing Touches

After the tattoo is complete, your artist will clean the area and may take photos for their portfolio or social media.

Aftercare Instructions

Your artist will provide detailed aftercare guidance to help you properly care for your healing tattoo.

Payment

Payment is taken at the end of the session. Most of our artists accept Venmo, Zelle, and cash. Your artist will provide specific payment information before your appointment.

A Personalized

Tattoo Experience

Your Comfort, Your Choice

Depending on the artist you’ve scheduled with, your session will take place either in a private room or one of our open-air tattoo stations.

Privacy is important to us—closed-door appointments and privacy curtains are always available upon request.

Your Session, Your Way

Our artists are happy to chat during your session, but you’re also welcome to request a silent appointment or bring headphones, a book, or other material to help pass the time. Feel free to ask your artist any questions—they’re here to ensure you feel comfortable throughout the process.

Tips for After Your

Tattoo Appointment

Follow Aftercare Instructions

Your artist will provide detailed instructions tailored to your tattoo. Stick to these guidelines to ensure proper healing.

Avoid Direct Sunlight

Keep your tattoo out of the sun during the healing process. Sun exposure can fade or damage

fresh ink.

Skip Swimming and Soaking

Avoid pools, hot tubs, and baths until your tattoo is fully healed to prevent infection.

Wear Loose Clothing

Opt for loose, breathable clothing to avoid irritating your new tattoo, especially on sensitive areas.

Stay Hydrated and Rest

Drink plenty of water and get adequate rest to support your body’s healing process.

Other Helpful Tips

Allow Flexibility in Your Schedule

Tattoo appointment times can vary. Avoid planning other events on your appointment day.

If you have time restrictions, inform your artist at the start of your appointment.

Share Healed Photos

Artists appreciate seeing their work once it’s healed. If possible, send your artist a healed photo a month or so after your appointment.
