Sara
Owner & Artist
Sara began tattooing in 2018 after completing her apprenticeship at Heart and Skin Tattoo Studio in Fort Collins, CO. She continued her education in Chicago at Knight Studios in Portage Park and now owns Bone & Blossom Tattoo Studio in Lombard, IL.
With a BFA in Intermedia Art and a background in Women & Gender Studies and Sustainability, Sara combines her passion for art with a love of collaboration and connection.
She specializes in full-color illustrative tattoos with a focus on botanicals and vintage styles including Art Deco, Pop Art, and Post Modern.
Sara also co-leads The Ripple Affect with Emily Fong of Evergreen Studio—a project dedicated to supporting tattoo artists through mentorship, education, and inclusive community resources. Artists are encouraged to share their insights and help shape its future.


Yulia
Artist
Yulia has been working as a tattoo artist since 2019, specializing in delicate and fine line tattoos of plants and animals.
She prefers to work in black and gray, though she is also skilled in incorporating light colors when desired.
April
Artist
April has been tattooing since 2020, and specializes in illustrative and neo-traditional styles. She enjoys doing work that incorporates nerd/fandom themes like Pokemon, Studio Ghibli, and Lord of the Rings, and her work often showcases a strong feminine subject matter.
April tattoos in both color and grayscale on all body types. With a background in fine art and ongoing tattoo education, her ultimate goal is to provide an exceptional, welcoming, and comfortable tattoo experience, deeply valuing her clients' trust and vulnerability.


Lexie
Artist

Lexie has been tattooing since 2022, specializing in American traditional and black and grey with stipple shading. She enjoys creating pieces that include botanicals, animals, darker elements, and especially her original flash designs.
Lexie is grateful for her tattoo journey and the opportunity to connect with her clients, valuing their trust and support. Her ultimate goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere for all her clients, catering to all conventions and making the tattoo process
stress-free and seamless.

Emily

Emily began her journey as a full-time tattoo artist in 2020 at Electric Tattoo Parlor. Before that, she shared her passion for art as an instructor at Creative Arts Inc. in Crystal Lake. With multiple semesters of formal art training, Emily has honed her skills to create captivating, imaginative tattoos.
She has a deep love for all things whimsical and mythical, as well as nature and forest-inspired designs. Emily also enjoys tattooing themes from cartoons and video games, bringing a playful and creative touch to her work.
Specializing in illustrative and neo-traditional color tattoos, Emily is also skilled in fine-line, traditional, and black and gray styles. She strives to create a welcoming and inclusive environment, collaborating closely with clients to bring their ideas to life. Emily encourages clients to bring anything that makes their experience more comfortable and is always ready to discuss the details to ensure a perfect result.

Kelsey
Junior Artist
Kelsey has been tattooing since 2023 and specializes in anime-inspired designs and stipple-shaded work. She enjoys tattooing pieces rooted in fandom culture, with a love for anime, video games, and pop culture, and is always eager to explore new styles and work with more color.
Kelsey tattoos in both color and blackwork on all body types. With a passion for continual learning and a collaborative approach, her goal is to create an inclusive, comfortable experience for every client while bringing their ideas to life with creativity and care.


Emma
Artist
Emma began her tattooing journey in 2020 at Unbreakable Ink, and since then, her passion for tattooing has only grown. She believes that tattoos are the perfect way to capture personal stories and moments in time, which is why she doesn't limit herself to any one style—if you’ve got a vision, she'll work with you to make it a reality.
While she's open to all kinds of designs, she has a special love for anything nature inspired. Her favorite styles are neotraditional and watercolor, but she's always excited to explore new styles and techniques. Some of her favorite themes are plants, animals, skeletons, anime, and oddities/curiosities.

Haley
Apprentice
Haley V Ferro is starting her tattoo journey this spring. Her inspiration comes from animation, comics, fantasy, and video games. She has a Visual Communications Degree from Northern Illinois University.
Haley has always been an artist and creates using several mediums. Currently, she enjoys making digital art into prints and stickers, acrylic illustrations on wood, and screen printing on shirts.
Haley is interested in American and Neo-Trad tattoo styles with lots of color and learning how to provide great tattoos for all skin shades. She aspires toward the Bone and Blossom core values of providing an intentional space for connection, respect, and collaboration that can only come from getting a tattoo.
