Social Media Manager

We're looking for a creative and organized Social Media Manager to oversee content creation, scheduling, SEO-driven strategy, and cross-platform marketing for Bone & Blossom—helping us grow our tattoo clientele, promote events, expand our apparel brand, and build community both online and off.

The Role

We’re seeking a creative, self-driven Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager to take our online presence to the next level. You'll be in charge of crafting compelling content, writing engaging captions, managing posting schedules, and optimizing our strategy with SEO, meta descriptions, and Google Ads. The ideal candidate is someone who understands the tattoo industry, has a strong design and writing eye, and is ready to grow with our brand—on and off social media.

What We Are Looking For

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and schedule engaging content for Instagram and TikTok

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms

  • Create optimized post descriptions and use relevant SEO keywords and hashtags

  • Oversee Google Business profile and use Google Ads to boost visibility

  • Build marketing campaigns to promote tattoo artists, events, and merchandise

  • Drive newsletter growth through strong call-to-actions and lead magnets

  • Increase awareness of the shop to both potential clients and tattoo artists

  • Promote events (e.g., walk-in days, anniversary parties, markets) to attract local audiences

  • Strategize long-term non-social media marketing efforts (e.g., email, blog, local outreach, digital advertising)

Ideal Qualifications

  • 2+ years in social media marketing or digital content creation

  • Experience with SEO, Meta Data, and Google Ads

  • Knowledge of Instagram Reels, TikTok trends, and algorithm best practices

  • Bonus: familiarity with the tattoo industry or alternative creative businesses

  • Strong visual storytelling, graphic design, and writing skills

  • Comfortable with independent work and creative problem-solving

  • Passionate about inclusive marketing and community building
